Josh is an artist manager, record label A&R, DJ, digital marketer, and the founder of Somewhere Soul. He launched the platform six years ago as a music blog.

However, as he delved deeper into the industry, he grew increasingly frustrated by the lack of support for independent artists. Drawing from his experience working at a digital marketing agency and an independent record label, Josh began sharing educational content on social media focused on music marketing and the music business.

The positive feedback he received from artists underscored the importance of such resources, prompting him to organize monthly workshops covering topics like personal branding, playlisting strategies, DIY PR campaigns, and TikTok growth. Josh has expanded his outreach to collaborate with music festivals, colleges, charities, and talent development programs, delivering talks and workshops to aspiring and emerging artists across different age groups.

Josh curates playlists on Apple and Spotify and updates them regularly.
